TRAFERO is an innovative platform that acts as an independent broker that always puts the customer first. How it Works?

After signup, our algorithms get to work and then we move contracts to the best deal, every time a better deal is found, we switch again automatically. Customers are in control at every step of the way. Trafero keeps all relevant information in a Members Only Area and sends users notifications anytime a better tariff is found.

We work with central regulators where all retailers must declare their available market offers. Our algorithms go through thousands of offers in milliseconds and calculate the right deal for each customer.

What's the difference between Trafero and comparison websites?

By using a broker or a comparison site, Businesses and consumers think they're getting expert guidance, but often they're just paying for an expensive middleman. 

Trafero works exclusively for consumers, and performs independent searches in the entire market. Unlike brokers or comparison sites we do not accept payments or kickbacks from any retailer, to suggest any results we find. That being the main difference between Trafero and comparison sites.

Will switching suppliers interrupt user supply?

No, your new supplier uses the same infrastructure. Switching won't change your power supply, and your new supplier ensures a seamless transfer without disruption.

How do you monitor user consumption? 

We connect to local energy distribution companies, that are in charge of metering and distributing energy. We obtain user consent and monitor their consumption so users don't have to wait until the end of the billing period to find out what their bill amounts to, this way they can access what is their exact bill amount at any stage during the billing period. 

Why should I switch electricity suppliers?

Switching is the only way to move to a cheaper tariff or supplier. People switch for savings, better customer service, to lower their carbon footprint or to support green energy. With TRAFERO you can choose your why.

Do I need to give my supplier notice that I'm leaving?

No. You don't need to give your existing supplier any advance notice that you want to switch. In fact you don't need to contact them or deal with them at all during the switchover process. We will keep tabs on the process and inform you step by step.

How supportive is legislation for this type of service?

Very.  The internal market for electricity, which has been progressively implemented throughout the European Union since 1999, aims, by organising competitive electricity markets across country borders, to deliver real choice for all Union final customers. Legislation and regulation has been developed since then to support competitiveness between energy retailers and to provide a real choice for consumers.

According to regulation, in any of the 27 member EU states,

If you decide to change your gas or electricity supplier you will not be charged for the change. 

 

The network operator in your area must make the change within a maximum of 3 weeks.

Suppliers are not allowed to impose disproportionate obligations that would prevent consumers from switching.

 

No later than 6 weeks after you switch, you should receive the final closure statement/bill from your previous supplier.
